With generous support from local and national organizations, SLLS hosts innovative Fellowship projects to respond to urgent community needs. Fellowship programs offer prestigious placements for newly minted lawyers, while providing invaluable services for our clients.
Applicants interested in the Equal Justice Works, Borchard, and Skadden Fellowship programs are required to develop a proposed project with a sponsoring legal agency, like SLLS. Selections for these fellowships are made by the national programs, not by SLLS. Because of the time needed to develop competitive projects acceptable to SLLS and the applicants, interested applicants should contact SLLS at ltuggle@slls.org as soon as possible. Earlier applicants will have an advantage.
Currently, there are two Tulane Law School Lutz Fellowships available helping us address the urgent needs of domestic violence victims and abused children.
