Carey has been employed at SLLS for over twenty five years and has served as a Staff Attorney, Managing Attorney of the Family Law Unit and Interim Supervising Attorney for the New Orleans Office. He is the co-chair of the firm\u2019s Professional Development Committee and coordinates the firm\u2019s Annual Program-Wide staff meeting. He has also served as the chair of the Louisiana Legal Services Statewide Task Force on Family Law.<\/p>\n Mr. Carey\u2019s civic and professional memberships include the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association. Mr. Carey has served on the Louisiana State Bar Association\u2019s Reentry Court Task Force and served as the co-chair of the Reentry Court Subcommittee on Child Support Issues. He is also a member of the American Bar Association\u2019s Legal Impact Network for Kin(LINK).<\/p>\n Mr. Carey is a 1991 graduate of Tulane University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and he is a 1994 graduate of Tulane Law School.
