Directing Attorney of the Baton Rouge Office<\/em>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_4,1_4″ _builder_version=”4.22.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_column type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”4.22.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.22.0″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n Talya J. Bergeron is the Directing Attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in the Baton Rouge Office. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University and received a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. Prior to her new role, Talya served as a Staff Attorney and a Managing Attorney in the Family Law Unit at SLLS.<\/p>\n She is committed to serving the underrepresented members of society and survivors of domestic abuse. Talya is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, in which she serves on the Access to Justice Committee and the Children\u2019s Law Committee. Additionally, she serves as a committee member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Pro Bono Committee, the Law Day Committee, and the Volunteer Committee.<\/p>\n Prior to these affiliations, Talya served as the President of the Board of Southeast Advocates for Empowerment (SAFE), an organization that assists survivors of Domestic Abuse. Additionally, she has served as the First Vice-President of the Louis A.
