Wills for Heroes

The Louisiana State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services’ Northshore Pro Bono Project are hosting a free Wills for Heroes Event for your organization.
The Wills for Heroes Foundation works nationwide with affiliate organizations to provide free wills and other estate planning documents to America’s veterans and first responders, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and probation/parole officers. Spouse is included. Support staff is not included in the program.
Every participating veteran/first responder will have the opportunity to meet individually with a licensed attorney and have a Last Will & Testament, Healthcare Power of Attorney, and Declaration/Living Will drafted on his/her behalf without charge.
