SLLS is participating in a free workshop in Kenner for homeowners facing foreclosure. The event will be at the Ponchartrain Center from 1- 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

Ranie T. Thompson, managing attorney of the Foreclosure Defense Unit in SLLS' New Orleans office, as well as SLLS attorney Maureen Morrow and SLLS staff members Janet Handy and Barbara Douglas.  SLLS will give a presentation about general services provided by SLLS and a brief explanation of Louisiana foreclosure process, prevention strategies and how to find SLLS.
